Christopher Hampton's seductive and savagely witty look at terrifying and disastrous games of love and lust in 18th century Paris won London's Olivier award for Best Play, multiple Tony nominations and three Academy Awards for the film adaptation "Dangerous Liaisons".

Les Liaisons Dangereuses was part of the Stage Center Presents 2000-2001 series and featured special guest star Alley Mills of TV's "The Wonder Years".

The action takes place in various salons and bedrooms in a number of hotels and chateaux in Paris and the nearby country-side, as well as the Bois de Vincennes.

The time spans from August to New Year's Eve, one year in the 1780's.
