September 3-25, 1993 A romantic fairy tale, as well as a metaphysical thriller cleverly disguised as a light comedy which evolves into something dark and surprisingly moving. On one level the story concerns a couple who meet, fall in love, and get married. But at the wedding reception a mysterious old man asks to kiss the bride, and what began as a familiar comic romp turns into a penetrating examination of modern relationships.
