Production Notes
Best in Ten is archived separately from the regular mainstage season. Theme: “Little Theatre…Big Ideas!” Benefit supported CST building fund and Season 29 programming, including educational outreach. Ninth Annual Ten-Minute Play Contest winners presented as staged readings. Original release specifically identifies Jane Hall, Mary Gordon Taft, and Christine Jolly in a short play written by Rick Allen Lippert; the title is not given. Other performers included Linda McDonald, Terry Veal, Lana Henson, and Rob May; precise play-to-performer assignments are not established. Earlier research identifies a winning play titled Low Society, but association with Lippert or particular actors is not sufficiently verified. Jane Hall recognized as film/stage actress; Bob Smith as patron and former Edmond Sun theater reviewer, retired from the University of Central Oklahoma. Reception 7:10 p.m.; program 8:10 p.m.; live/silent auctions and wine pull. Admission $30. Two near-duplicate original releases corroborate August 18, not the October date in prior secondary notes. Honorees: Jane Hall; Bob Smith.
