Production Notes
Best in Ten is archived separately from the regular mainstage season. CST official 2026 event announcement and contemporary MetroFamily listing identify June 20 at 6:10 p.m., with catering by Bo Taylor and silent auction. Four selected ten-minute plays from statewide competition plus honorable mention Peace Pilgrim Goes to Jail by Angela Curtis (not confirmed as staged). Patrons of the Year: Bruce and Jo Ewing. Volunteers of the Year: Philip Carlton and Don Lusk (also styled Phil Carlton in another listing). Admission $60. Some earlier secondary notes list Terry Veal, Lilli Bassett and Nick Solomon as participating actors, but cast involvement and play assignments need verification and have therefore not been entered as confirmed CAST credits. Original materials chiefly establish event announcement, not a full post-event performance audit. Honorees: Bruce and Jo Ewing (Patrons of the Year); Philip Carlton and Don Lusk (Volunteers of the Year). Selected plays: Dead to Rights — Michelle Swink Gibbons; The Night Asimov Daniels Spoke in Tongues — C.W. Bardsher; My Last Hitchhiker — Rick Allen Lippert; Real Magic in the Magic Kingdom? — Daniel J. Gamino.
