Debbie has one dream: to become a Dallas Cowgirls cheerleader. When she gets her big break, she has two weeks to get to Dallas, but her parents won't pay. Her four best friends launch a fundraising scheme that begins with ordinary after-school jobs and takes a scandalous turn. Soon the girls are juggling demanding bosses, frustrated boyfriends, and increasingly outrageous adventures. Directed by Rodney Brazil, with choreography by Chris Castleberry and musical direction by Renee Anderson, this irreverent musical comedy is packed with outrageous humor and double entendres. Recommended for mature audiences.

Production Notes
Production History
Final production of CST’s 24th season, directed by Rodney Brazil, with choreography by Chris Castleberry and musical direction by Renee Anderson. Conceived by Susan L. Schwartz, adapted by Erica Schmidt, and featuring music by Andrew Sherman, the musical spoofs the 1978 adult film. Debbie and her friends pursue increasingly outrageous fundraising methods to finance her trip to Dallas to become a professional cheerleader. The stage version debuted at the 2001 New York International Fringe Festival before moving Off-Broadway in 2002.
CST Connections
Rodney Brazil previously directed Bug during Season 23. Brett Young, who stage-managed Bug, returned here as a performer. Renee Anderson both portrayed Lisa and served as musical director.
