Production Notes

Production History

Eating Raoul was CST’s first production on Stage Center’s Tolbert Theatre stage, as documented on the original CST webpage. Directed by Marcellus Hankins, with music by Jed Feuer and lyrics by Boyd Graham.

Live Music

The production featured a four-piece band: Chris Todd on piano, Elyse Angelo on drums, Nelson Eubank on bass, and Warren Loy on keyboards.

CST Connections

Elyse Angelo previously played percussion for CST’s original Changin’ Lanes. Mary Freeh, who appeared in that production as Celeste, portrayed Donna the Dominatrix and Yolanda here and supplied Donna’s costumes.

Press Coverage

The Oklahoman’s June 28, 1998, review, “Eating Raoul Fun Stage Romp,” favorably discussed the production’s broad comedy and lively direction.
