Production Notes

Final subscription mainstage production of Season 13. Franci Hart’s June 27, 1997, Oklahoman review, “Production Will Keep You Thinking, Laughing,” reportedly praised Mary Freeh and Nick Backes and the thought-provoking comedy. Freeh had acted in Inspecting Carol and designed costumes for The Illusion; Backes had acted and designed scenery for The Illusion. An August 25, 1996, season announcement had originally listed Love! Valour! Compassion! for June 20–July 12, 1997, but subsequent contemporary coverage identifies Laughing Wild in that slot. Reason for change unknown. Director and technical credits not recovered.
