Reefer Madness
Kevin Murphy and Dan Studney (book); Kevin Murphy (lyrics); Dan Studney (music)
Opening Date:
June 25, 2010
Closing Date:
July 17, 2010
A straight-laced lecturer warns of the dangers of marijuana through an increasingly outrageous tale about Jimmy Harper and Mary Lane. Based on the notorious 1936 propaganda film, this camp musical satirizes fearmongering with exaggerated characters, songs, and wild theatrical excess.
