Production Notes
Contemporary reporting described The Elephant Man as the finale of CST's regular 1987–1988 season, although the theatre presented additional special summer productions. The reported schedule included Thursday–Saturday evening performances on May 12–14, 19–21, and 26–28, plus a May 22 matinee at 4 p.m. Richard Lemin discussed the play as a parable about society's definitions of normality. The lobby featured art by Daniel Chaffee and Sheryl Cozad. David Hester, Jim Osterlund, and Marge Baysinger held both performance and production credits.
